Home Screen & Scheduler

The DQ for Dynamics Home Screen provides an overview of previously run match sessions. It also give you the ability to create new match sessions to find duplicates, which will return to this very same screen. It is also home to the scheduler (DQ for Dynamics Master Edition) which is allows you to:

* Schedule sessions at times of your choosing

  • This module also allows for chaining of deduplication sessions so that high certainty matches can be auto-mastered and merged, leaving ambiguous duplicates for semi-automated perfection, or manual review
  • Users to choose from a range of automation options for duplicate detection and then subsequent automated processing which:
    • Saves time manually reviewing records
    • Increases productivity by automating repeatable processes and humanising the exceptions
    • Improves control by choosing what processes are executed when and in what sequence

Session Scheduling

To create/edit/remove a session schedule Double-Click on the clock icon inline with the session you wish to schedule.

Once this has been selected, you will be able to define your scheduler:

1. Session Details:

Session: This is the name of the session you are scheduling. Created By: Name of Admin who has created this match session. Entity: Entity Selected. Created on: Date upon which scheduler is created

2. Schedule Type

This process selects whether you want to run:

  • Independent session - which has no links to other sessions
  • Parent Session - which can have child sessions running off the parent (workflow type process)
  • Child Session - which can be scheduled to run after a parent session

NOTE: This functionality allows you to run sessions sequentially which reduces the waiting time between match sessions. It is possible to run child sessions from parent sessions and therefore link sessions together.
